Suggest Remedies For Persistent Vomiting In A Toddler

2.5 year toddler having continuous vomiting.. Hez throwing out everything including water right from the morning.. Doctor prescribed emeset orally but it s not working out so just gave him an emeset injection.. My concern is he vomited even after the injection.. Having fever of 100..no loose motion.. I m suspecting a stomach infection but doctor say it s might not be b since he doesn t have any loose motions.. Whatever I give even a spoon of water hez puking out.. M extremely tensed and don t know what to do.. Any suggestions please

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to stomach infection.

For vomiting you can give syp ondensetron.

In case of fever he may require syp acetaminophen.

Continue sift diet and oral rehydration solution. Keep him hydrated.

Watch for dehydration symptoms like decreased urination, dry skin.

In case of not getting relief, he may require complete hemogram, ultrasound abdomen after consultation.
