I got diarreah weeks ago while vacationing in Israel. Imodium didn t work. I wasn t sick or feeling cramps. After we got home April 28 it still didn t go away. My doctor prescribed diphenoxylate atrop. it says to take every 6 hours. I took it morning and evening and didn t go to the bathroom for four days. I cut it back to one a day and had loose bowels all day long. I still have loose bowels and am taking it once a day.
Hello, You need to see your doctor again and get testing for infections or parasites. You may have gotten exposed to something in Israel and if it is persistent you need a diagnosis so that you can get treatment. Regards
