Hi,
First of all, I suggest you spare milk for a later time of the day because very commonly it is seen that milk impairs appetite in many.
Start the day of the kid with apple that is known to enhance appetite due to its fiber content and is also medically advised.
Also never force the kid to eat anything and let proper time lapse between the kid is offered anything to eat.
It is very important for the kid to experience hunger to actually enjoy the meal.
It is very important to incorporate freshly made yogurt. Zinc helps in building appetite. Wheat bran, cashew nuts, and pumpkin seeds are good for improving the level of zinc in the body.
Try incorporating these into your child’s meals or snacks. You can give zinc as short time supplement as well that is available OTC.
Also, I will suggest you not to give any milk supplements. You can give 5 ml of A-Z syrup daily for a month that also helps in appetite.
Vit D and
iron deficiency is quite common in kids. I suggest you to get these parameters checked and also get the stool microscopy done to rule out any parasitic infestation so that proper treatment could be initiated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
