Suggest Remedies For Prolonged Mouth Ulcer

Hello doctor .. My mother is 54 years old she is having mouth ulcer on the floor of the tongue which is around 1cm with no palpable regional lymph nodes with oral fibrosis n caries in the teeth..since last 10 years,sometimes it becomes red and painful and sometimes it is non painful..she is takin multivitamins since then..please suggest the needful management..

hai,
oral ulcer (mouth ulcer) got main causes like intake of chemicals,infections (bacerial ,fungal,viral),stomatitis (gastritis),also in malignancy.

systemic abnormalities also induce mouth ulcer. mouth ulcer is an indication for many pathological condition.
multivitamin tablet will help deficiency oriented condition.

prolonged mouth ulcer should be examined by a oral surgeon and character of ulcer ,duration,bleeding,size,healing time,reoccurence those should be ruled out
with proper investigation.

kindly consult a oral surgeon to rule out the cause.
