I had hernia surgery 4 weeks ago. I recently developed a rash around my incision which the doctor said was related to an allergic reaction to the bandages I was using. He prescribed a steroid cream and I have been using that since Thursday. I now have started itching around the incision on my abdomen not where the steroid cream was applied. I also am experiencing itching and in some spots bumps throughout my body. Could I be having a reaction to the mesh that was used?
