Suggest Remedies For Rashes On The Neck Of A Teenager
16 year old son has rash on his neck look like a sunburn and encompasses both sides of his neck. He had been at the lake so I thought maybe a reaction to the sun. He has been home a week and it is not going away. He also just had chickenpox booster and 2 menningecocal shots before school started. Now he has noticed a node behind his collar bone feels a little enlarged. I agree. We are headed to the doctor in the morning. What tests should we ask for?
what ever may be it require local examination for proper diagnosis. it can be fungal infection or allergy. if it is sunburn then avoid expo user to sun and apply sunscreen lotion. no test is necessary. it is only clinical examination which is diagnostic. delayed reaction of vaccination does not require any treatment it will subside by its own the lymphatic node can be inflammatory draining from a source. the source is to be traced.need not be worried since there is no serious problem.
