Suggest Remedies For Red Spot On Face Followed By An Infection

Hello, i had a spot with no head and using cream or special remedies were not getting rid of it at all. I used hot/boiling water to seep the whitehead out and it worked. However , there was a large amount of skin surrounding my spot that had been removed. It caused an infection and had to use fusidic antibiotic cream to heal it. However, the skin has healed but it is red and constantly stands out. It hasn't gone down and I'm really concerned of what to do. Is there a way to bring back the skin's natural skin colour? if so is there cream/medicine or a remedy? Thank you.
