Suggest Remedies For Ringing In The Ear, Worsening With Pregnancy?

Hello, I have seen an ent before for this situation and I feel like I didn t get the answers I was searching for. For the past year I have had constant ringing in my ear. My hearing loss in my right ear had dropped drastically once this happened. I got an mri and everything was clear. The ent says he thinks I got a cold and it attacked my ear. It stayed the same for a while but since I found out i am pregnant it seems to be getting worse. The ringinging is louder and it s my ear is soar. I plan on seeing an ent but I just wanted your opinion on what you think might be happening? I really don t want this getting any worse seems thought I ve already lost some hearing...

i am dr.kalpana ENT specialist,as you have ringing sensation and hearing loss in right ear which got worsened during pregnancy there is a definite Ear problem.Most likely, it is otosclerosis, which is a disease in which ear bones are sclerosed and not conducting sound properly. First step is to get a pure tone audiogram to ascess the amount and type of hearing loss then accordingly tympanometry may be required to diagnose the disease.If it comes out to be otosclerosis, then surgery is the treatment of choice, but after delivery of your baby.
