Suggest Remedies For Severe Headache

I have been experiencing dull, but sometimes more painful aching pain on the left side of my head for approximately one week. This is the same side of my head that I have two meningiomas. I also experience severe migraines which I have received two Botox injections for (the last one at the end of August). I have an MRI scheduled for middle of October, but with the pain, do I go talk to my doctor now?

Hello,

Your headaches are probably due to the meningiomas and I presume that you have been given medications that can be taken as needed for the pain.

But in general, pain medications for which brain masses are responsive to may include NSAIDs like Celecoxib and Etoricoxib, opioids like tramadol, as well as steroids like dexamethasone. I

suggest a follow up with your doctor for proper medications tailored to your case as well as dose adjustment depending on your response to the said medications.
