General & Family Physician, Dr. Katie Lee's Response
Hello,
It sounds like you already underwent multiple workups including cardiac testing to ensure your chest pain is not coming from heart-related conditions which are reassuring to know.
Left sided chest pain, as long as we have ruled out the cardiac cause, is sometimes related to acid reflux condition.
I am not sure if you do have an underlying acid reflux problem, but since those pain can be felt like left-sided chest pain, you may want to try over the counter acid reflux medications such as Prilosec or Prevacid or even Zantac to see if this improves your pain.
If you are taking too much caffeine either from soda, coffee or teas, you may want to reduce those intake since they can contribute to your pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Katie Lee, General & Family Physician
