I have been having pain in my ankle for 2 months now, I have had x-rays with no sign of fracture or break. I saw or tho and they stated I pulled tendons on the outside of my ankle, put me in a boot and it still hurts even more now 5 week s later to the point I can t lay down without shooting pain.

Suggest Remedies For Severe Pain In Ankle
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic In addition to the tendon injury, it is possible that there may be nerve injury as well since you are having a shooting pain. It would be best either to re visit your orthopedic doctor for assessment or make an appointment to see another orthopedic specialist. If nerve injury is suspected, additional imaging, such as an MRI, would be best. This shows both bones and nerves along with any other tissues I hope this helps
