I had a massage by a registered therapist Mon. Now have pain 10 out 10 on left side of spine towards upper hip and makes me nauseous and dizzy ... I've put heat on it and took 500mg Tylenol and 400mg ibuprofen with some relief. Don't know what else I can do

hi and pleased to answer you
Several causes can lead to backpain and discomforts after the massage: your physical condition, your posture in general, your degree of sensitivity, your level of stress, the maneuvers applied, and so on. In general, muscle pains are experienced 1 to 3 days after a massage. It is likely that a patient who has never received a massage will feel more discomfort after his first appointment than the one who regularly visits his therapist. If you have been inactive for a long period of time or has tensions due to repetitive gestures or work posture, you will respond more to the therapist's maneuvers than if you have an active life and has little work demanding. As for sensitivity, some patients react more strongly to the pressure of the massage, which may seem light for the therapist, but very deep for them. It is therefore important to question the patient regularly about his perception of the massage, his level of comfort, etc., and to adapt the care accordingly. Conversely, the patient sometimes demands greater pressure, which can cause contractures instead of the relaxation sought. It is necessary to know that the work of muscular relaxation continues after the massage; Thus, the benefits can be felt in the following days. This is why the therapist will take care not to apply excessive force to a tension during the massage and to make the patient aware of the effects in the medium term.

lumbago , discal problemes and arthrosis of that region can be atypical and gaves such signes, for that you need a rhumatologist consultation with some X-ray explorations.
I think for your muscles contracture you need:
Thiocolchicoside 3 times daily
Cataflam 50 3 times daily

best wishes
