General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history of diabetes, you are suggested to control your blood glucose at all cost. Untreated diabetes commonly causes peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy when left untreated causes tremors & ED. Get clinically examined by a Neurologist. Get Nerve Conduction tests, Nerve Biopsy & Imaging tests (X-Ray, CT, MRI, EEG, etc) done. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. You will be treated with medicines (pain relievers, antidepressants, etc) & therapy's (Physical therapy, electrical nerve stimulation, etc). Take Vitamin B6, B12, folic acid and mineral rich food or supplements.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
