Suggest Remedies For Sleeping And Breathing Difficulty Post Intake Of BP Medications
My mother in law had suffered high blood pressure 20 days ago.She has diabetes too and glycomet gp1 ,she is taking. For high blood pressure doctor had prescribed stamlo beta. After taking this medicine she is unable to breathe, she has sleepiness nights, after 2-5 steps she start breathing heavily.. I am really scared . spoke to doctor about this he said to continue the medicine. If she is having such side effects then should we change the medicine or doctor.. Please help me out.
Shortness of breath is an important symptom that warrants a visit with the doctor, so she needs to be checked to determine why this is happening.
If the doctor is not willing to do a thorough check on her related to this, then it may be a good idea to have her checked by another doctor and make sure she is taking the right medications and the right dose and to rule out other possible causes of shortness of breath.
I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
