Suggest Remedies For Slow Weight Gain And Recurring Cold In A Child
My son is frequently caught by cold and after he caught fever and weight also not increased that much. H ie is now 15.7 kg. He is completed 5 yrs. How to prevent frequent cold and how to increase the weight. His head is always sweating more than normal. Pl suggest the good way to come out from this shortcomings.
I suggest you to get your son vaccinated every year in autumn season for influenza and pneumococcal as it gets aggravated by cold weather and sometimes persists the whole year on and off.
Apart from vaccine, I suggest you keep him away from dust, strong fragrances, pollens and cold weather. You should give him a proper healthy diet and avoid junk foods as it may result in weakness and weight loss of your child.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
