Hello!
I have been through your question.
According your symptoms I think these could be diabetic sores. It is known that usually ulceration associated with
diabetes are the most common cause of
foot ulcers and approximately 15% of persons with diabetes will develop foot ulceration during their lifetime. But to be sure for this diagnosis I suggest to meet a doctor , to do a physical examination,to control glicemia,
HbA1c, full blood count, material culture taken from sores, and start as soon as possible oral or intravenous antibiotics prescribe by your doctor( because
local antibiotic seems to be not effective in this situation). In my experience the diabetic food is very hard to treat and needs a long time treatment with antibiotics and collaboration with
diabetologist and plastic surgeon for local treatment. During this time you should try to maintain as clean as possible the sores.
I hope my answer help you.
I wish you a quick recovery.
