Hi,

Noted your history of supposedly sunburn but one leg has got swollen making it tight, hard to walk and bend at the knee, ankle looks swollen without any skin discoloration.
First of all the skin getting sunburn can not really cause such changes as you have mentioned.
Hence the causes can be one of the following:
Some infection developing causing such a edema.
Or some reaction to anything.
Even DVT that is deep vein thrombosis can cause such changes.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult a Doctor immediately or go to ER.
Tests of blood.
Ultrasonography and color doppler of the affected area.
Get started on prescription based antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines.
Elevate the affected limb above heart level in lying down position.
Regular review and continuation of medicines till cures.
IF there is any infection and development of an abscess then you may need incision and drainage,
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
