Suggest Remedies For Swollen And Painful Vagina, With Recent Bout Of Vaginosis
i was given metronidazole for a bacterial vaginoisis. I took as directed and I finished the week long dose on saturday. sunday evening I had sex with my boyfriend, there was no pain until afterwards, there was also I burning feeling when I peed after and my vaginia is very swollen and feels achy. Should I have waited a few extra days to have sex?

It is mostly suggestive of vaginal fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or avil for itching. You can take Fole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into the vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part.
