Suggest Remedies For Tingling And Numbness In Feet And Hands
I have neuropathy of the feet and hands (4th and 5th fingers). This consists mainly of numbness of the toes and tingling of the fingers. I have had fusion of my spine from C-2 to L-3. I just woke up with numbness of my shoulders and arms. The tingling and numbness have subsided. Should I seek immediate medical attention?
Well, these are signs of certain neuropathic issues and this is most commonly seen in some metabolic disorders such as diabetes, of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy, accounting for about 30% of cases.
In diabetic neuropathy, tingling and other symptoms often first develop in both feet and go up the legs, followed by tingling and other symptoms that affect both hands and go up the arms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
