Suggest Remedies For Tiny Red Spots On The Head Of The Penis

I have developed tiny red spots/ bumps solely on the head of my penis. There is some patchy redness that accompanies said bumps. I have no discomfort nor is there any itching at all. I have been prescribed mild steroid cream, mild anti fungal cream and most recently, and urgent care physician said to try tinactin. None of these remedies seem to make any bit of difference. What on earth is going on here. Please help! Regards

Genital rash is a skin symptom that could be caused by a variety of health problems.These rashes are usually reddish in colour and may be painful or itchy.Some however do not itch or pain.Treatment of this condition will depend on the cause.This can explain why some very good medications at times may not work.Some common causes of rashes on the penis head are:
-Could be a form of dermatis of infectious or allergic origin or just a local irritant
-It could be caused by a sexually transmissible infection some of which are herpes and syphilis
-It could be caused by a fungus
Persistence of rashes on anti-fungi cream and mild steroid cream suggest the cause has not yet been targeted.Tinactin might not still help much.I will suggest you go back to he hospital and request for an STI work-up(Syphilis, herpes in particular).The oipinion of a Dermatologist may be needed if after the tests the rashes persist after treatment.
