My wife complained of vision issues that consisted of the sensation of a small bug flying around her head. the issue went away while at work but returned on her way home but consisted of the sensation of someone shinning a laser light in her paraephial vision

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

These type of sensations are common in people who have some problem in aquaeous humor of the eye, these halos need to be checked up by an ophthalmologist to decide treatment, if that was the first time your wife had it then you can wait and see if this happens again, and if this keeps happening time and again , then is better to visit an eye specialist to get a look into the matter he will use techniques to look into the eye and then treatment is decided accordingly but till then there is not need to start any medication.
