Suggest Remedies For Watery Whitish Vaginal Discharge
I recently had sex after a 7-year break. I m a 61-year-old female. As a result, I had a bladder infection and prescribed macrobid. On the last day of this med, I have a watery white slight vaginal discharge with a little uncomfortableness. I d like to nip this in the bud fast! I ve only had about 3 bladder infections in my life. Any suggestions? I live hours from my gynecologist who prescribed the antibiotic for the cystitis. I ve been looking online for at-home remedies like soaking in baking soda baths. Thanks!

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). But better to have an ECG examination to rule out any cardiac problems. For GERD and gastritis you can take acid lowering drugs like Esomeprazole (Nexium) or Ranitidine (zantac) for long time like 6 weeks. If there is no improvement after this then it is better to consult a gastroenterologist and undergo fibrogastroduodenoscopy to know the exact status.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
