Suggest Remedies For Weight Gain Due To Medication For Diabetes

Sir i am using mixtard 22 and 20 units in the morning and night and pg+mt+gp tablet 1 in the after noon. Glycemic control is good. i am taking met 500sr in the night. i am 108 kgs now agaed 39 years , using the same medicines for the past 6 years , only insuling dosage altered from 12,10 units to 21 and 20 units.. i am gaining weight rapidly. walking becomes painful....please suggest me to get better

In an effort to lose weight, you may need to alter your diet. Because you are on insulin, you should see a nutritionist before you alter your diet because, in some cases, the insulin may also need to be reduced.

There are different types of diets, the main ones are low carb diet and low fat/low calorie diet.
You can choose the one that would best suit you.
