I am 45,5 ft 10 inch tall and weight is 116 Kg. Basic reason is that I dont do any physical exercise. Once i did this and reduced my weight to 83 Kg in just 6 months. I am teetotaller and non smoker. Yes is possible to loss weight by exercise and eating good foods. Consume a low calorie plan , small frequent meals are ideal than 3 big meals. select the right portion of cereal ,avoid bakery products processed foods, sweets , carbonated drinks .Drinks planty of water. Add lots of vegetables in your meals with 2 servings of fruits per Day. Start to make physical activity ,I recommend getting at least 30 minutes of moderately intense exercise every day, and even more exercise for further health benefits. It will be a hard work so be decided.
