Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that treatment for idiopathic thrombocytopenia is a low dose steroid. But taking a long term steroid will cause you side effect of the steroid. I suggest you to not take vigorous physical exercise, this will destroy your platelets faster. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
