Suggest Remedy For A Bump From Nail Scratch
I scratched my upper lip with my finger nail on accident and then a bump suddenly appeared along the lip line area and it was white for a few minutes but now it s mostly skin colored but with a small amount of red tint to it. What is it I can do to make it go away?

Hi
You seem to have developed a superficial skin infection after the minor trauma caused due to nail scratch .
Keep the affected area clean and dry.
Wash with lukewarm saline water twice daily.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin or neosporin over the affected area twice daily .
Uou might need a course of oral antibiotics of the lesion tend to persist or increase .
