Suggest Remedy For A Cut Infection

My husband fell on a glass cup while thinking and cut his head, we live over 2 hours from a hospital and by time we were able to make it they would not stitch it. It now has small amounts of yellow puss coming out in a couple spots what can I do for him

Hi

Head injuries are not to be taken lightly

you need to know how deep is the cut and where is the location, better see the doctor even if it is two hours drive

as a first aid, you can clean the wound with normal saline or savlon solution and apply betadine cream

since you are saying there is yellow pus, the infection should be controlled with proper dressing in the clinic/hospital set up and if required anitbiotics need to be taken as advised by the doctor
