Suggest Remedy For A Persistent Diarrhea

I had diarrhea for 7 days. During that time I had bright red blood in the water and on the toilet tissue. I also have herorrhoids. Now my stool is soft, has mucous and traces of bright red blood. Stool is a yellowish color. Having pain in my lower back near my behind. More prominent on the left side. Before the diarrhea started I was on antibiotics for ten days due to fluid behind my ears.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic.
Diarrhea for about a week mixed with blood and mucus indicates it to be amoebic origin.
You need to take anti-amoebic drug Secnidazole for this problem.
Since you are complaining of hemorrhoids also, kindly get examined by Surgeon about its status and get cryosurgery done, if necessary.
Hope the information provided would be useful.
All the best.
