Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.
I reviewed facts of your query in context to your health issues and feel concerned about them.
My Primary Opinion-
In My opinion, in the given situation you seem to suffer from-
Post-traumatic Hematoma/or Tissue swelling on the leg.
It could be-a
Venous leak /or could be a sub-periosteal post-traumatic hematoma,or tissue oedema.
The hit was from baseball,so possibility of Venous leak or Tissue oedema are the probable causes. This is because the hit was not from a hard or pointed object.
Do's -
Get
Cold packs locally.
Apply thrombophobe oint locally.
Tab Ibuprofen-400 mg x 2-3 times a day x 5 days.
Tab Antibiotic-if need be to avoid infection in the damaged tissue of the leg.
If no relief-
Get Local X-ray to rule out any bony
injury.
And Consult with Orthopaedic doctor, to treat it accordingly.
Other causes need to be ruled out, after getting more details from you.
Next Appointment-
After 1 week-to resolve your problem
