Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain & Migraine

my fiance has been on implanon for since about june or july 2010 first side effect she got was gainin almost 20-30 pounds but what worries me more, is the fact that; she has been haveing a sharp lower abdominal pain, and sharp migranes both at least once a week is there a possiblity of pregnancy or is this just a dangerous side-effect?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Implanon causes the hormonal imbalance that some people may not get adjusted to .
Hence they get headache, weight gain, pain in abdomen and other side effects.

I would advise you the following for her:
Get the Implanon out.
Do the blood hormonal studies and treatment accordingly.
The pain in abdomen can be investigated by ultrasonography and physical examination by your Doctor or the gynecologist.
The treatment if required separately should be taken .
