Suggest Remedy For Acid Reflux With Shortness Of Breath
I have an acid reflux problem which has been rather bad these past couple of weeks. Constant bloating and belching. Wind stays trapped, interrupts s;eep, can't eat mcuh and I have shortness of breath when walking. I am currently taking Somac but also believe that I may have a low magnesium problem also.Thank you.
hello mam . i think you are suffering from gerd.. which is prettymuch treatable disease. you said you are using somac and you should start adding domiperidone which helps in decreasing acid secretion . and other prokinetic agents like like mosapride and if necessary can use sucralfate syrup to neutralise acid . this shortness of breath is mostly due to aspiration of acid into airways which lets u awake during sleep... so you should sleep in supine head up position at an angle of 30 degrees with rest of body. i think it works very well. if problem still persists you may have options like selective and highly selective vagotomy and fundoplication technics which are best suited for gerd disease. please keep in mind that this is curable disease.. so dont need to worry... just follow the guidence of local gastroenterologist. which helps you alot.
