Suggest Remedy For Acute Colitis

Hello, On Oct 4, I became very ill all of the sudden. Abdominal pain then I had a couple of bouts of diarrhea, then I vomited and a few hours later all that came out of me rectally was blood. The pain on my left side was so bad I couldn t get comfortable. I had my husband take me to the ER and the CT scan showed wall thickening in the descending colon. They thought I had CDiff so they put me on Flagyl and told me to see my doctor the following day. My doctor referred me for a colonoscopy. The results at colonoscopy showed ulcers in the ileocecal valve, erythema in the sigmoid colon, and a polyp they removed. Yesterday I had 5 bowel movements, small in diameter and light brown in color with pain on my left side. The 4th bowel movement I saw a trace of blood and more blood with the 5th. Today so far I ve had 3 bowel movements, no blood just pain on left side. I called the gastro doctor s office and they said my stool samples all came back negative for infection, fat or parasites. All she would tell me about my biopsy was that in the sigmoid colon it said there is focal active colitis and in the ileo cecal valve (I had ulcers in my ileaocecal valve) there is acute colitis. She couldn t tell me any more than that and scheduled me an appointment on October 30th. I read that FAC is usually from an infection like C-Diff, Salaminilla or parasites but I was negative for all of those. Sorry this is so long and so grossly descriptive. Any help is appreciated.
