yes, acute
liver injury is reversible.
increase in the level of liver enzymes(AST,
ALT) reflect an INJURY to the Liver. medically, the condition is know as "Hepatitis". it maybe caused by:
1. Virus (A, B, C, D, E)
2. Alcohol 3. drug induced (medication)
4.
Gall bladder or common bile duct pathology
5."Fat excess"
most likely , its due to drug induced.
advice:
- continue abstinence from Alcohol
- LOW fat diet should be followed
- NO red meat
- vegetables should be ingested daily
- Moreover, rest more
- use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day
-"recheck liver enzymes after 4 to 6 weeks".
if liver enzymes still high, You may visit hepatologist as soon as possible.
