Suggest Remedy For Bladder Pain And Presence Of Fat In Urine

Hello, I am a 67 year old male, for about the last two months every day (especially the first urination of the day) I see white globels of what looks like fat floating in the urine. They vary in size up to about 15mm in diameter. I suffer from kidney pain but no stones are present upon ultrasound, I also get bladder pain. I sllep during the day for an hour a a half and the slightest work makes me tired quickly. I also suffer from poli-myalgia and I am on prednisone 5mg. Please can you cast some light on the problem. Thank you so much, William Osmond

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to kidney stones or a urinary tract infection.
I suggest to do:
-an ultrasound
-a urine test
- a urine culture for further evaluation.
Meanwhile,I suggest to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
