Suggest Remedy For Bleeding And Pain In The Toe Nail Post Injury
Earlier this afternoon I jammed my big toenail and it immediately began to bleed around and the nail; of course pain and throbbing; I did clean it a little with some alcohol around the nail and to remove blood but did not want to be aggressive with that since it hurts; what do I need to do to care for this injury?

Since you have hurt your toe nail, kindly dress it with Povidone iodine ointment and bandage it regularly every day.
You can also put a topical antibiotic cream like clindamycin during dressing.
Keep the nail dry. The new nail will regenerate soon.
If it hurts alot you can take over the counter pain killers like Ibuprofen 400mg daily once.
Also kindly take a tetanus toxoid vaccination within 24 hours of injury if you have not taken it in the last 5 years.
