Suggest Remedy For Bleeding In The Colon
My father is a retired athlete, intelligent and active at age 90. He developed a sudden left colon diverticular bleed, with anemia. The bleed spontaneously stopped, and the anemia was resolved. Are there any drugs, supplements, or foods that can rebuild the health of his colon, which has been damaged by overuse of polyethylene glycol laxative ?

If there is further bleeding from colon she can take Tranexamic acid tablets thrice daily for 3 days.
She must eat plenty of vegetables and multivitamins may also help.
Ensure protein powder may supply essential protein supplement in her case.
