Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the tooth that is root canal treated and has a crown seems to have a re-infection leading to formation of pus below the root tips of the tooth and at times the infection leads to perforation of bone and appears below the gums as
Blister and there is also pain associated with it and the entire sequence of infection and pus formation is referred to a condition known as
DENTAL ABSCESS.
You should
consult a dentist and get an x ray done and in case if the root canal is found to be intact only medication that is antibiotics and painkillers will relieve but if there is some deficiency found in the treatment then the dentist can either perform a
root canal treatment or extract the tooth depending upon the condition of the tooth..
The dentist will also advise antibiotics like
Augmentin 625mg thrice daily,
Ibuprofen 5O mg thrice daily and
Pantoprazole 4O mg once in the morning empty stomach..
Hope this information helps..
