Suggest Remedy For Blisters On Legs

My 8 year old son has blisters that seem to be spreading on his legs. Today he saw a wound specialist who says he has epidermolysis bullosa and that he got it from our dog. Everything I am reading says its only genetic? Can you get epidermolysis bullosa from a dog?
