Suggest Remedy For Blisters On Tongue With Swollen Gums Due To Strep Throat
my daughter was diagnosed with strep throat and was started on amoxicillin 4 days ago. she has blisters on her tongue and lower lip with swollen gums. she saids it hurts so bad when she eats, so of course, she's barely eating. what can she do at least to alleviate the swollen gums.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the blisters on the tongue, lips and swollen gums could be because of the herpetic gingivostomatitis(herpes virus infection) or aphthous stomatitis. if i am your treating doctor i would have suggested you to take topical analgesic and antibiotics(anabel). do saline gargling or rinse your mouth with chlorhexidine mouth wash. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
