Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that as you went too deep inside the ear of your son while cleaning it and it was painful even later on and was bleeding there is a pretty good chance that you have damaged his
eardrum leading to its perforation..
At times bleeding can even simply occur due to injury to the lining of the
ear canal..
You should consult an ENT Expert and get evaluated and a through clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy and x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if there is injury to lining of ear canal then it will heal on its own and only pain relievers like
Ibuprofen or Tylenol is enough..
Analgesic eardrops can also be advised..
In case if there is perforation of eardrum then small perforations can be healed with antibiotic, analgesic eardrops and decongestant nasal sprays can help..
In case if the perforation is large surgical correction that is
tympanoplasty can be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
