HI
Well come to HCM
The symptoms are suggestive of some infestation and the most common cause would be thread worm (Vermicularis) and this can be best treated with Tab Mebendazole 100 mg once in week for three weeks, hope this helps.

Diabetologist Dr. Saumya Mittal 's  Response
Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I think you really need to be looked after by a surgeon. The possibility is that the problem is due to a fissure, minor traumatic line inside the anus that may be bleeding and causing pain that you feel as itching (itching is a form of pain medically).

The other option is that there may be a parasitic infection that may come out to be normal when you have your stool examination.

I would, in a patient that I could have examined once, have suggested a prescription of stool softeners like isapghulla, plenty of fluids, high fibre diet, and a course of antiparasitic medications like tinidazole.

If that does not help, a surgical evaluation must be done.
A colonoscopy may be planned if this is all negative

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
