I am a 20 years Male. I have a boil on my neck , right on the Adam s apple. I am notsure if it is a baltod or a pimple or just a boil. Its normally bigger in size than the pimples I have had earlier. I stopped having pimples on my face several months ago. But now there s suddenly this boil on my neck. It pains when touched. It has started to become little reddish. It has been 3 days I have it. And it is growing bigger and bigger. Please help!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have boils on neck and face . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like Most boils are caused by Staphylococcus aureus, a type of bacteria commonly found on the skin and inside the nose. Boils sometimes develop at sites where the skin has been broken by a small injury or an insect bite, which gives the bacteria easy entry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order sample of the pus to a lab for testing and examine physically . Doctor may prescribe clarithromycin at least for 5 days or may drain a large boil or carbuncle by making a small incision in the tip . For now maintain proper hygiene , apply warm compresses and do not touch or pick the boils .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
