Suggest Remedy For Break Outs On Facial Skin While Using Benzoyl Peroxide
I use a face wash that has benzoyl peroxide in it, but it isn t seeming to work for my skin anymore. Last month I did oil cleansing on my face and it made my skin completely break out. I stopped doing that and went back to my clean and clear face wash with benzoyl peroxide, but my skin is still breaking out a lot. I am 20 and my skin has never been this bad. I also have combination skin.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of breakouts on facial skin which seems to be due to allergic reaction to one of the ingredients of face wash.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day. Drink 5-6 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Apply Clindamycin gel and avoid any steroid based cream. You should apply aloe vera gel. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
