i have a patch of tiny tiny bumps on my lower lip. Not on the lip line but on the fat of the lip. right under where my top lip touches my bottom lip. I noticed them yesterday when i licked my lips. You cant see them unless i spread my skin on my lip and they are same color of skin and still barely noticeable but i can feel them and it is really annoying. There is about 4 or 5 of them together and then one a few CMs away. please help
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain small clusters of bumps on the upper and inner aspect of lower lip which are assymptomatic and appears only on stretching the lower lip seems to be Fordyce's Spots which are raised Sebaceous Glands and are not pathological but normal anatomical structures.. They are harmless and do not need any treatment until it effect the appearrence and in that can lazer treatment can be done for removal. A consultation with Oral Physician is must for a clinical evaluation and confirm the cause..
Hope this information helps.. Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
