Suggest Remedy For Burning Mouth Syndrome Causing Mouth Filled With Aphthous Ulcers

Really, are you real or some computer ? Ah, a computer brain? I ll try anyway. I have burning mouth syndrome (so many years now) . . . a mouth full of aphthous ulcers. My brother recommended cutting H202 in half with water and rinsing. Won t this burn?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms apthous ulcers in mouth can be due to the same causes that are causing burning mouth syndrome while can be due to some other underlying cause..

First of all answering your main query: Gargle with a dilute solution of hydrogen peroxide will not burn and it can be used for gargling in case of apthous ulcers but in case if a more concentrated solution is used there can be burning due to more of its acidic nature in concentrated solutions..

I would rather suggest you to gargle with soda bicarb solution or 1:1 solution of milk of magnesia and benadryl solution..
Take a multivitamin tablet daily..
For relief from pain and inflammation anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen can be taken..
Sucking ice cubes and gargle with cold water can relief..
Avoid hot and spicy food and take a soft bland diet..
