Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother was having some chest discomfort. Not exactly pain; more like a sensation. She had stents put in ten yrs ago, and assumed it was clogged arteries. She just had a chest x-ray today, and a pleural density showed up in her left lung. She quit smoking over 25 years ago (she is 71 now). She has no other symptoms. She exercises, eats so healthy, gets around great. Is this definitely lung cancer? She has to schedule a CT scan tomorrow
