General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that this pain might be due to coughing due to respiratory tract infection leading to stretching and strain of chest muscles.
This can be due to pleuritic pain due to some infection in the lungs as well.
Take analgesic with decongestant for 2-3 days.
If problem persisted then go for complete blood count and x-ray chest.
Go for deep breathing exercises.
Ok and take care.
