My wife is about 8 weeks pregnant and in the last week she started feeling really bad.she is not able to eat and drink cause she feels like trowing it up.she complains about burning chest pain she s been trowing up this dark like fluid.what should we do?
Emesis gravidarum (vomiting of pregnancy) is very common in the first trimester of pregnancy along with symptoms of acidity. You may take some PPI like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole etc., empty stomach as well as anti-vomiting medication like Ondansetron or Domperidone. Although, all this should be done under the guidance of your doctor as the first trimester of pregnancy is a really crucial period and any medicine should be given carefully.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
