Suggest Remedy For Chronic Abdominal Pain With Vomiting
I have been sick for 2 months. Stomach aches, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, belching, bad pain in middle upper abdomen after eating a meal. Takes forever to digest foods. Had scan of abdomen and EDG. Only showed too much bile in stomach and indigestion. Chronic pain all day. Bowels move but not good. Horrible belching problem. My doctor has prescribed Esomeprazole MAG DR, Sucralfate lGM and Zofran for nausea.I have lost 30 lbs. since January 10, 2017, I am sick everyday and I don t think my dianogis is correct. Can you help?
Presence of chronic symptoms with normal reports and unresponsiveness to conventional medications points toward possibility of irritable bowel syndrome. In other words I mean to say that you are probably dealing with functional gastrointestinal disorder.
In my opinion you should ask for a referral to gastroenterologist or if he feels that he is unable to find any specific cause ask for a referral to a psychiatrist. It is possible that use of low dose antidepressants can help you as they are the drug of choice for irritable bowel syndrome.
I hope this assists you. Wish you great health ahead. Thanks
