Suggest Remedy For Chronic Cough, Headache And Throat Pain
i have continuous coughing fits, very hard to clear white syrupy mucus, my upper right side on back is in pain, my head hurts now when i try to clear my airways, my chest hurts and throat hurt. This has been going on for two months or more now. Sometimes it is so bad (an episode) i feel as though i am going to black out. Even after eating or drinking something i will have a coughing fit. They can be ongoing for an hour at times and three or more times a day or night.
You should be tested for CBC,ESR,sputum examination and X-ray chest.
You should take symptomatic treatment like bronchodilators ( steroids, alpha agonists,anticholinergics), anti-allergic (antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers) with analgesics if there is pain.
You must take full course of antibiotics (quinolones or macrolides preferred) for at least 5 to 7 days to prevent any super-infection.
Avoid cold water or drinks.
Take steam inhalation and steroid nebulizers regularly or till the infection subsides.
